Can we ask that people bring their own phys rep's for herbs. Just that with the amount that are whizzing round that we don't have enough ourselves. We bring a small stock with us, but theres never enogh for everyone (and they get lost in the crew room)

It doesn't really matter whats in the phys rep (I've use gravy granules, weeds, spring onions etc), just that its labelled properly

Gravy powder? Sounds a lot simpler than painting a mushroom green and then half letting it dry so it's partially shrivelled but still somewhat slimy.

Yeah, for the Green Bolete I've used mushrooms with green food dye. And the Arrowcaps Mushrooms have been the same but red food dye.
Problem with perisables is that you forget about them and by the time you get to the next market they've been smelly mush. Foodstuffs like black pepper dont go off so much
Various other things have just been weeds from the back garden (I think Barrowmoss is Mindyourbusiness, Rat Tongue root is the roots off a dandelion etc).
Just improvise. Whats more important is the label on the container

I've got a bunch of old dried herbs that I can't use for teas anymore that I'll be bringing along for phys reps - devil's claw, valerian and so on. There should be plenty going spare if anyone needs.

Ta. They're fairly easy to make up. Just small pots, or even just paper with stuff wrapped up in it

Ditto. My phys reps for dried herbs tend to be, well, dried herbs!
